Service Description

Learn how to use the Strip Tube Ruler for easy strip piecing! If you know your basic piecing skills, this class is a perfect progression for beginners or a fun and fast technique for those more seasoned piecers! Requirements for class: Strip Tube Ruler - Available at Stitched in Schertz 40- 2 1/2" x 44" strips (a jelly roll or equivalent) Rotary Cutter and Mat for your table (at least 12" x 18") Starch Iron and Pressing mat for table (If you do not have one, you may use our stations) Thread Snips Coordinating thread Quarter inch seam foot Thin Patchwork pins Sewing Machine with power cord and pedal (you may coordinate prior to class use of one of our classroom machines) HOMEWORK: Pess your 2 1/2" x 44" strips with your favorite starch product and separate your 40 strips into TEN groups of FOUR. I like to make sure that there is a nice variety of color and print in my groupings.
