Service Description

Using the Sewciety Kids Curriculum, your child will work through FOUR different Levels of classes. Within each Level, there are SIX units, each taking SIX 90-minute sessions to complete. With the completion of each Level, students will receive a Sewciety Kids Badge to celebrate this great accomplishment! Each Level should take roughly one year of sewing to complete. Using this curriculum will give your child 4 years of sewing projects and beyond! We're doing things a little differently this year! You will purchase 6 sessions at a time. Your child may attend any of the Thursday evening Studio times. You may choose to leave a credit card on file and when your child's sessions run out, we will automatically charge your card for 6 more sessions. The program is still all-inclusive. Fabrics and notions will be provided for all projects. Your child will work from their own pattern binder learning read and follow sewing patterns. Our goal in doing this is to encourage independence in the sewing studio. We will provide one instructor per four children, and help will be available where needed. We will encourage each child to problem solve and use the skills they have learned and will learn to accomplish each project. Please note- Due to weather and holidays, there may be some Thursdays when we will not be open. We will make sure you know about these days as soon as we can.
