Class Objectives: Piecing the Fairy Ring and Pixie Promise blocks utilizing the Studio 180 Square Squared, Tucker Trimmer I and Tucker Trimmer III (or a 9 1/2" square ruler) Required for class: *****PEN AND PAPER FOR NOTETAKING***** 1. Label all fabrics with Fabric color and Fabric # 2. Review Basic supply list included in the pattern. This list is very detailed, use your own judgement. Here is a few suggestions: a. Clean machine in good working order, power cord and foot pedal. Know how to adjust the needle position. b. Regular pressor foot and ¼” foot c. Size 80/12 microtex or universal needle, include at least one extra needle d. Good quality neutral thread with at least 1 extra pre-filled bobbin e. Rotary cutter and extra blades, cutting mat f. 6” X 24” ruler, 6 X 12” (if you have one), large square ruler, minimum of 9 ½” or if preferred Tucker Trimmer III. (If taking Saturday Enchantment Block of the Month classes and utilizing Studio 180 design tools, I recommend Tucker Trimmer I, Square Squared Tool, V Block, Eight inch wing clipper, Tucker Trimmer III (I use this for squaring up all my large blocks.) g. Pins and pin cushion h. Fabric marking utensils i. Scissors, seam ripper j. MUST HAVE STYLUS OR PURPLE THANG to help with accuracy
